• To search for an exact phrase, with the same words in the same order: Place quotation marks (") around the phrase you’d like to search for eg "Mulder it's me"
• To exclude results that include a particular word: Place a dash (-) before the word you want to omit eg romance -slash
• To search for a phrase with missing words: Place an asterisk (*) within the search as a placeholder for any unknown terms eg. "kiss my *"
• Use AND or OR between words as required
• To search multiple sites at once try changing site:gerties.x-sites.org on the results page to
      site:x-sites.org OR site:xf-redux.com OR site:xffics.com OR site:xphilefic.com
  (for example) and search multiple X-Files fanfic sites at once.

NOTE: I've restricted a few documents from google indexing where I've fudged an author name for privacy in the story listing, but wanted to keep the real name in the story itself. The contents of these pages won't be available to search, only the information on the listing page. –x-sites.
